In the past 17 years, the Golden State Warriors have gone through a brutal stretch of seasons where losing has been the rule, with only one exception in 2007. Heading into this season, fans of the team saw reason to believe that such a stretch of losing would no longer be considered acceptable. New ownership, the acquisition of an all-star power forward, and a new coaching regime gave us reason to believe again.
